TM Real Estate Group announces yet another first as a successful construction company with the launch of its latest division – Agriculture. Through an agreement with the Agricultural Society of Murcia (Sociedad Agraria Murciana) the company plans to take advantage of a 70 hectare plot which they have in Almoradí and Los Montesinos, in the region of Alicante, Spain.

The first product being planted is broccoli, which will be produced entirely for export to the British market. Over 3,780,000 plants will be sown, with the hope to produce over 1,500,000 Kilos of broccoli.
Planting will be completed during the first week in March 2010, with harvest planned to start in November 2010 and finish between April and May 2010. This new business activity is expected to generate an estimated 730,000 Euros for the company. If successful, there are plans to plant watermelons to take advantage of the spring-summer season.
This new branch of  TM Real Estate Group, TM Agricultural Division, forms part of the company’s “Strategic Diversification Plan”, designed to position TM in new markets and increase their portfolio to include interesting new products.
